About Tianjian Li
Tianjian Li, founder of Fillet Edge, is a New York-based architectural designer and artist. With a Master’s degree in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from the South China University of Technology, his academic and professional journey is a testament to his dedication and expertise. Currently, Tianjian contributes his creative vision to Grimshaw Architects in New York, an internationally esteemed architecture firm, where he offers comprehensive architecture services to clients worldwide across multiple sectors. This role has deepened his versatility and commitment to innovative problem-solving, as he continually seeks fresh approaches to intricate design challenges. Before joining Grimshaw, Tianjian gained invaluable experience working at prestigious firms such as Workshop/APD and Leeser Architects, where he established a foundation of knowledge and insight that continues to enrich his career.
Driven by a passion for weaving architectural themes into alternative narratives, Tianjian has competed in numerous design competitions, which resulted in prestigious accolades. His artistic expression extends beyond architecture; his works have been showcased in galleries and exhibitions, including The BLANC Gallery, Holy Art Gallery, and Praxis Gallery. About Yifan Deng
Yifan (Chrisitna) Deng is a graduate with honors from M.S. Advanced Architectural Design Program at Columbia University, GSAPP. Before this, she was graduated from South China University of Technology with a 5-year B.Arch. Based in New York, she is currently working as an Architectural Designer in Kohn Pedersen Fox.
Being a design-driven and detail-oriented person, she loves telling stories with her drawings and is passionate about learning and exploring new things. Having a great interest in multi-disciplinary design, she lead the programming and design of several interactive projects during her academic experience, in which she was mainly involved in the Look and Feel, Coding, Visual Programming, and Motion Design.
